Dr.-Ing. Dipl. Math. Oliver Müller
Oliver Müller left the Institut für Informationsverabeitung.
Publications and research activities from the time after the departure are not listed here.
Oliver Müller studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Leibniz University of Hannover. He received his Dipl. Math. degree from the Leibniz University of Hannover in November of 2010. His diploma thesis "Szenenrekonstruktion aus Bildsequenzen mit Hilfe von konischen Bildmerkmalen" dealt with scene reconstruction using affine invariant image features.
Since then he has been working as a research assistant toward a PhD degree at the 'Institut für Informationverarbeitung' at the Leibniz University of Hanover. His research interests include computer vision and machine learning topics with focus on:
  • Probabilistic graphical models: Modeling and approximate inference techniques
  • Object tracking
  • Pose estimation
