Christian Becker was born in Hannover/Germany in 1978. From 1998 to 2004 he studied mathematics and computer science at the Leibniz Universität Hannover focused on probability, statistics and computational complexity. In 2004 he received the diploma degree in mathematics. Afterwards, he startet at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung (TNT) at the Leibniz Universität to work towards his PHD. His research interests are image analysis and data analysis for GIS verification and update.
