Mona Mirzaie studied computer science at Leibniz Universität Hannover and completed her master's thesis on the topic of Industrial Anomaly Detection, receiving her master’s degree by the end of 2021.

From 2022 to 2023, she worked at the Technical University of Braunschweig as a research assistant in a collaborative project with VW-Konzernforschung, focusing on autonomous driving.

Since April 2023, she has been pursuing a PhD at the Institute for Information Processing at Leibniz Universität Hannover, with a focus on End-to-End Autonomous Driving.
