Mona Mirzaie studied computer science at Leibniz Universität Hannover and completed her master's thesis on the topic of Industrial Anomaly Detection, receiving her master’s degree by the end of 2021.

From 2022 to 2023, she worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Braunschweig on a collaborative project with VW-Konzernforschung, focusing on sensor fusion for autonomous driving.

She joined the Institute for Information Processing at Leibniz Universität Hannover in April 2023. Her doctoral research focuses on interpretable methods for end-to-end autonomous driving.
