Yeremia Gunawan Adhisantoso studied electrical engineering at Leibniz University Hannover with specialization in Computer Engineeering. During his study, he worked in research projects such as video compression and electrical design automation. After graduating he joined Institut für Informationsverarbeitung at Leibniz University Hannover where he currently works as a research assistant towards his PhD.

He is an active contributor to the MPEG working groups of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 8 where he contributes to the series of MPEG-G standards (ISO/IEC 23092).
