Sven Ysker studied electrical engineering at Leibniz University Hannover with focus on Microelectronics. In his diploma thesis, he implemented and adapted a predictive blockbased motion estimation algorithm for use in the automotive environment. He received the academic title, Diplom-Ingenieur, in May 2011.
Since April 2023, Mr. Ysker is working towards a PhD degree at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung (TNT) at Leibniz University Hannover. His current focus is on deep learning with a special interest in wildfire risk detection.
