Sven Ysker studied electrical engineering at Leibniz University Hannover with a focus on Microelectronics. In May 2011, he earned the academic title of Diplom-Ingenieur upon completion of his diploma thesis. The thesis involved the implementation and adaptation of a predictive block-based motion estimation algorithm for the automotive environment.

Since April 2023, Mr. Ysker has been working towards a Ph.D. degree at the "Institut für Informationsverarbeitung" (TNT) at Leibniz University Hannover. His current research revolves around deep learning, with a specific interest in wildfire risk detection.
