Description

The control of quantum systems lies at the heart of quantum computation. The evolution of a closed quantum system is determined by the Hamiltonian, which corresponds to the total energy. The Lie algebra that is generated by terms in the system's Hamiltonian is the so-called dynamical Lie algebra (DLA). In this project, we explore how to leverage the existing classification of DLAs for problems in quantum chaos and complexity.
