Hendrik Hachmann studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at RWTH Aachen University and received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in 2012. In his Diploma thesis "Interaktive 3D-Segmentierung von pleuralen Verdickungen in CT-Lungendaten" he focused on medical image processing and developed interactive tools enabling the user to do fast segmentations with low intra- and inter-reader variability. Since July 2013 he is working towards a PhD degree at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung (TNT) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
