Difan Deng received his Master's degree in electrical engineering and information technology at TU Darmstadt in 2019. Before that he studied electronics and information engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and received his bachelor's degree in 2015. Since 2020 he is working towards a Ph.D. as a  researcher at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung.

His research interest is AutoML, including Bayesian Optimization and Neural Architecture Search.
