Tomas P. Verardo studied computer science at the
Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, focusing on artificial intelligence. He earned his master's degree with distinction in 2024. After graduating, Verardo joined the Institute of Information Processing (TNT) at the Leibniz University Hannover, where he is currently pursuing his PhD.
His research interests center on machine learning applications for structural health monitoring (SHM), with a particular emphasis on computer vision and bridge safety.
