Alexander Tornede studied Computer Science at Paderborn University and received his Master's degree in 2018. Since then, he is working towards his PhD as a doctoral researcher at Paderborn University supervised by Prof. Dr. Eyke Hüllermeier. He will most likely defend his PhD at the end of 2022.
His main research interests involve Automated Machine Learning (AutoML), in particular interactive and explainable AutoML, Algorithm Configuration and Algorithm Selection.
